TPACK
This week you will be exploring lessons that integrate technology in content areas within the classroom using the TPACK framework. You have several short overviews of the framework, in addition to some lesson plan sites to help you get an idea of what TPACK looks like in your classroom. TPACK is an excellent framework for planning lessons that integrate technology well, while teaching content. The goal of any TPACK lesson is to move the content knowledge forward with the assistance of technology. In this way, technology in teaching mimics technology in any other real world situation. The technology is necessary to productively teach the lesson. It doesn't drive the lesson, nor is it an artificial add-on.
It's very important that you add to your Diigo library and include the link to Diigo in your journal this week. In addition, as you research additional TPACK resources during the week - share with your colleagues as well as curating these in your Diigo Library.
